Rocking Renovation: 50’s Country Home turned into Modern Dream Home

Our rocking renovation spotlight shines on the modern transformation of this 3-bed, 2.5-bath, two-story ranch style home. The property, located in Grayson, Georgia, was renovated by Lunsford House Properties, LLC, a real estate investing firm that specializes in a buy and hold investment strategy.

Prior to its modernization, the home was found in an unkempt state that was evident from many aspects of the home, including the outdated 50’s wall paper, old floors and chipped cabinets. Despite its ample square footage of 2,427 sq. ft., the outdated design and decor did not highlight the spaciousness of the property. This was one of the key focuses for the investors in their renovation plans.

The restoration included the removal of the outdated wallpaper, new interior paint, and exterior siding. The kitchen, which once featured linoleum flooring and outdated countertops, now shines with brand new porcelain tile flooring and marbled granite. Installed prior to closing, the property also saw an update to its appliances, and it now features a stainless stove, microwave, and dishwasher. The rest of the property also saw the addition of new flooring – gorgeous hardwood throughout the shared living spaces and carpet in the bedrooms.

Last but not least, the investor added a great amount of curb side appeal by updating the landscape of the front yard and repainting the exterior of the property.
